On the banks of the Saône River, in the protected world heritage site of Old Lyon, the Le Phenix Hotel is housed in the former house of the Red Hat, where Mr. De Nemours, Governor of Lyon, Forez and Beaujolais (1531 -1585) slept, was established as a hotel, since the 16th century. Since 1990, the three buildings dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries combine tradition and modernity. The hotel offers 36 rooms, 10 of which are junior suites, conferences rooms and arched entrance hall, 17th century fireplaces, panelling and preserved historical columns which have been restored and classified. Private parking and a business centre is also available (upon reservation)
